Yes, but he's not among my favourite male J-pop idols, so my apologies.

I don't mind that hairstyle, even if it's "bengish", because I don't judge books by their covers.

I think the current Kikkawa Koji looks good enough:

Wow thanks for the pic. This one looks good. Aged better than matchy now I must say.
I saw koji pics from his more recent concerts and he had like scary silver spiky hairdo.

As far as I'm concerned, among the male J-pop idols born in the 1960s who debuted in the 1980s, the most good-looking one and the one which has aged the best is:

Anzen Chitai is probably the band with the most songs covered by canto pop singers. Almost all of the big names in canton pop has had a hit which is a covered anzen chitai song

Don't think so... but i found this song from your YouTube link.. the album had this solid song ...

okay, if it's not the compilation album I linked to, then it must be this studio album, released in 1985, which has that song:

You're welcome!
Like what I said to Narong, was that good enough to receive 9 points from you? :p

If you click on the pic, it would link you to its Japanese wikipedia page, and it seems there's no English name for the album...
It's just "安全地帯IV" or "Anzen Chitai IV".

I'm guessing you must be at least 40 years old, right?

Yes. 80s was the best time growing up. Apple 2 compatible games, new wave synth pop, Mtv, breakdancing etc ...

Looking back, the only bad thing about the 80s was the fashion - big hair, shoulder pads, neon colou and men wearing mascara :o Somehow that's my mental picture of Sam Leong in his youth..

Oh yes. Remember watching a movie of hers when it was screened here in the early '70s. She played the guitar and sang 'Mother of Mine'. She went on to a short career in Japan before marrying and settling down in Japan. Has a doctorate in education. Went through breast cancer recently.
