very insightful Inuka. I've stayed in Taiwan for quite a long period of time and witnessed how corrupt and inefficient their system is. every now and then their news report of briberies, failed controls etc. Not implying that this wouldn't happen elsewhere, Sg govt indeed has done a pretty good job in ensuring the progress of the country and her well-being. And I personally, hope to see this trend carry on till our future generations where new, capable leaders can pave the way for a better and brighter future.
How do you know the same is not happening in SG as well? Because there are no such news reports in the media?
What success? Median takehome income is $1700 ...do you know the implications????? So, the current industrialization is a BIG flop because it is NOT creating good paying jobs. Instead, it has created MORE problems ---eg. flooding of the country with 2.3 million foreigners!!!!
