STB is a training ground for scholar CEOs and their Admin service officers... so you get 2nd rate nerds holding office who are on their career rotation.

I pity all the non scholar staff ....

As with all public sector workplaces, the diploma holders are at the bottom of the food chain. Overworked and underpaid.

SINGAPORE — The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) says aspects of a promotional video which went viral online and provoked strong reactions ‘could have been done better’ in a statement today (April 8).

The video, which features a couple visiting various landmarks and tourism sights in Singapore, was apparently been taken offline, less than two weeks after it was put up, but not before social media websites had replicated it and shared it on the internet, with many posting remarks making fun of it.

STB said that the video was produced for the Philippines by Philippine network ABS-CBN, in an effort to customise content for this audience.

“When shared on STB’s Facebook page for the Philippines, the video attracted over 3,400 likes in the first week and garnered some 900 comments, largely positive,” STB added.
