On a serious note the Western Intelligence do not trust the Israelis at all. Neither do we. This is a body of work that is well known amongst those in the intelligence, academia and politics.

I'm not concerned as to whether the Jews are trustworthy as long as they continue to contribute to the betterment of mankind on the technology front.

For example Andy Grove's genius resides in almost every single computing device.

That I agree. The Egyptians and the Jordanians realised that.

It's the fault of the Arabs for not accepting the UN partition plan of 1947. They attacked Israel instead, losing more land in the process....

Land allocated to the Palestinians by the UN were taken over by Trans-Jordan. So in effect, the Arabs brought the problem upon themselves......

How about Singapore? Do you think the opposition parties or its leaders are funded by the PAP to protect the Lee's interests and to ensure that there will be no change in the status quo after the PAP loses the majority? A chilling thought!

This is well known chestnut in world politics. A state has limited resources and has to make a decision. It either feeds its army or feeds its people who have been hit by famine.

If you feed your people, you would not have any army to protect you from other contenders to your leadership. You also cannot appeal to the UN, the World, Hollywood or Bob Geldof for help and assistance.

If you feed your army, the world will come to you to provide humanitarian relief. All the top tier charities will come in their private jets to offer you options. You can also collect commission and even re-sell the provisions provided.

If Hamas did not fire a single rocket, there is no basis for Israel to do anything. When the Egyptians, Jordanians and other Arab countries started to move towards recognising Israel what was initially a confrontation between Arab states is now a conflict between Hamas (not even a state or state rep) and Israel.

Its a brilliant strategy if you think about it. Israel needs a buffer to protect it from the broader Muslim Brotherhood. Palestine is that buffer. How to make sure Palestine serves as a buffer as opposed to yet another entity that can directly threaten the existence of Israel? Hamas.

Creating your own terrorist is a game also played by the United States. After all, they created Al Qaeda in its earliest incarnations. Then they had to deal with the monster they unleashed. Note that the number of people who died in WTC bombings in 9/11 pales in comparison to collateral damage suffered in Afghan and Iraq as a result of the war on terror.

Come on, we've seen this game before.

Even ex-SEALs know this very well, and are not afraid to admit such.

Unlikely the case.

Firstly if Israel needs buffer state she wouldn't had return Sinai peninsular. Gaza is way too small to be a buffer state.

Secondly Hamas was the ideological twin of Muslim Brotherhood. Are they a good ally to counter Muslim Brotherhood?

Interesting hypothesis but here's an example where they actually failed miserably - as much as they are probably one of the most capable intelligence services, they also monumentally get it wrong:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...assassinate-Hamas-leader-ended-in-fiasco.html

Documentary on this: http://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/aljazeeraworld/2013/01/201312210472621589.html

Sheikh Yaseen was released in exchange for this - the King of Jordan demanded the antidote for Meshal and they sent it via helicopter - the swap occurred and later Sheikh Yaseen was taken out.

Over the past 10 years the whole conflict has gotten so complicated that there are just too many layers within layers within layers. No single narrative will nail the whys and hows because no single entity can now possibly have the complete playbook...a number of articles have pointed to KSA as being complicit in the attack on Gaza - the leaders of the Sunni world sacrificing lives in order to squeeze the threat of the Brotherhood and to cut off its tentacles - urging Egypt on now to take over Libya because its falling apart:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-hearst/attack-on-gaza-by-saudi-r_b_5603735.html

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-hearst/saudi-crocodile-tears-ove_b_5628185.html

The whole ISIS domino is also very curious - why are they being allowed to rampage on - they even burnt a Palestinian flag publicly and proclaimed that it should ever only be their black flag flying high - GCC countries are obviously nervous especially KSA which shares common border with ISIS Iraq - they just captured Mosul dam and have an oilfield - so why is no-one stopping them? Conspiracy theory websites already claiming Abu Bakar Baghdadi is a Mossad plant:

http://beforeitsnews.com/alternativ...-trained-by-israeli-mossad-video-2993768.html

Sovereignty will matter very little if they spillover.....the conflict cannot be viewed just as an attack on Gaza - the web in this instance is cast much further and wider - the thought of co-ordinated orchestration of this entire series of events makes it look like Schrodinger's cat.

When Jimmy Carter convinced Sadat and Begin to sign the historic Camp David Accord in 1978, the World expressed a huge sigh of relief. The Peace prize was given out. The UN however condemned the Accord because no one from Palestine participated.

It has always been complicated.
