Why would anybody want to exert pressure and cripple Peesai and its economy? Give me an acceptable reason for that?...

For example, if Mahatir were still the PM today in Malaysia and his country had the GDP higher than sinkieland, would he exert pressure on sinkieland to do things that he wanted or cut off the water supply? Would there be another Mahatir in Malaysia after Najib is out?

Would there be another Sukarno in Indonesia in the future?

Taking things for granted on status quo basis is not a wise move.

If the PAP spends $1 billion a year to bribe Indonesian and Malaysian political leadership as well as religious leadership, we would be a lot safer and for a lot less.

Bribery does not guarantee the taker would honour his part of the bargain. What happened if bribe taken and the taker walked away? You lost your money and your country is still at risk.

He can say what he wishes - he has an opinion and a home crowd to please, but has he intruded on Singapore? In case you have not noticed, Malaysia's current PM, and Singapore's PM are on very good terms with each other, and take turns to host each other very often...

Mahatir is still an influential figure, don't write him off yet. If given the chance to wallop LKY, he would have gladly done so decades ago but he could not because the Western powers did not support him. He inched too close to the islamic camp.

Najib's arse is on fire now. His days are numbered. LHL is now watching the slide show to see how the fire will roast Najib. In politics, there are no friends. LKY used to say so. What you see is not what you get.

Pappies treated sinkies like shit, would the next Govt if run by oppo parties treat sinkies better? Hard to tell but there is a chance the next Govt might not want to repeat mistakes made by pappies.

Defending the island is the responsibility of all local sinkies, don't count on imported shitizens and foreigners in the volunteer corp to defend the island. They would probably flee when crisis erupted. If local sinkies refuse to defend their own country, who will?

USA? UK? If they could defend Ukraine, they would have done so long ago. Be realistic. Sinkies cannot count on outside help to defend itself against external aggression. Whether you like it or not, the fate of all local sinkies is sealed with the island.

This is the 21st century,anyone can be the citizen of any country in the world.if u want to fight for something,die for something,do it for something you stand for,some place you believe in,some place that believes in you.
