Then why does police release the info that they are drunk? The reporters will attend the briefing and that is where the facts of the case is released. If not, where they get info from?

The Nine Emperor Gods Festival Kew Ong Ya , is a nine-day Taoist celebration beginning on the eve of 9th lunar months of the Chinese calendar. Temples in Singapore Devotees invite the Nine Emperor Gods to bless them with good health, luck, peace & etc. All devotees are thankful for their health, luck, happiness & well being and pray for better times for the rest of the year.

Sunday October 13th,2013 is the final nine days & end of the hot event festival celebration. This is the day for send-off procession of the Nine Emperor Gods to heaven. Devotees walk, dance, follow up with lion dance/dragon dance performance. It enjoying,exciting watching the procession in live.

SINGAPORE: Three Singaporean men were charged on Saturday (Feb 7) for various offences that took place at a Thaipusam procession on Tuesday.

Ramachandra Chandramohan,32, faces seven charges, the most among the three, including behaving in a disorderly manner and voluntarily causing hurt to a police officer. He was also asked to surrender his passport.

Meanwhile, Jaya Kumar Krishnasamy, 28, faces three charges including voluntarily obstructing a police officer in the discharge of his public functions.

Also charged today was 33-year-old Gunasegaran Rajendran. He faces two charges which include behaving in a disorderly conduct and with the deliberate intention to wound the religious feelings of a police officer.

All three were represented in court by the same lawyer. Their cases have been adjourned and all three are currently out on bail and will appear again in court on Mar 6.

Wow charged with so many offences and asked to surrender his passport? Ah neh rioters can throw stones at police and burn ambulance & police cars and got away with no charge. Only a fraction of the trouble makers were charged. Were the foreign rioters charged for unruly behaviour or hurting the religious or whatever feelings of policemen? Very unfair indeed to be so tough to locals and yet so lenient to foreigner trouble makers.

I think Singaporeans should put aside racism and differences among local races and unite against discrimination of local Singaporeans as a whole at this critical juncture. Dogs of other nationality should stop promoting anti local indians or malay to disunite Singaporeans.
