Politics is like cancer. Your body fights against itself and it happens all the time, except that it is usually under control. When it goes out of control, it will kill the host.

If a country cannot control its politics, it will collapse. Take Thailand for example; polarised by the Thaksin character even until today, it is almost impossible for the electorate to accept whatever party coming into power.

The latest victim in the cancer of politics is Britain. It has divided the United Kingdom and the campaigns run by both stay/leave parties have mutated sentiments out of control.

It was a fight between logic and emotion.

I must give my 2 cents worth here but be forewarned my 2 cents worth is bigger than the gu chia lian or bullock-cart wheel! Politics on a level playing field is no cancer at all. The cut and thrust of arguments to win the hearts and minds of an electorate who is treated with proper and due respect is the antidote to such a cancer. PAP politics is cancerous for 2 things: for subverting and perpetuating power unto itself by all means fair or foul and by constantly insulting the intelligence of the electorate. PAP-cancer is self-destructive and incurable. Just wait for it to implode!

Argue is useless. It leads to populism. Action more better. And who better to act than the People's Action Party? You can always rely on the PAP to act on your behalf, do the right thing even if it is unpopular.
