I visit the bank every month to pay my VISA bills. My bank account is with a different bank that issued my VISA card.
Why not do this online, must be easier than to do monthly squaring up at bank A (to pay bank B). Once setup, saved transfer template is for next month's payment. And you can do this by FAST, credit in 5 minutes. Instead of normal MEPS (bank charges apply), and GIRO 2-3 working days.

No Singpass required

For me it's quite easy to pay manually because there are usually very short queues at Citibank when I go to withdraw $. The CC card I usually use is from a bank that has seating while I wait. Doing it manually allows me to monitor my expenditure.

In the future I may decide to just use my Citi CC, then I can just make payments via Citi's telephone banking system. Using their phone banking is I think more secure than using internet banking. I just have to clear the points I have accumulated.

The last time I used Singpass was 3 years ago & I can't even remember the password for my Singpass account :o
