Chronic kidney disease (CKD) has no symptoms till one reach end stage renal failure when one need dialysis or kidney transplant. So it's important to screen for any kidney disease early. Also our kidney start to gradually lose function from age 30 at rate of 1% per year. Quite scary thought.

we are dying every single day, think about it- skin cells dying, hair cells dying, worn out cells dying...
nothing is stopping us from our march towards to eventual death itself.

By 80 yrs, our renal function would drop to about 50%. Experts say can still live normally and most wd die from other conditions.
