Many uninformed voters would never know that Ping-pong goes beyond the silver medal.

Why Bee Wah is placed at STTA ? Why PAP refuses to nurture local ping-pong girls and guys ?

The world knows that China Chinese are good at Ping pong.

So the PAP spin doctors made a beeline to import some ping-pong girls to win medals for a political purpose at a high price.

AMK GRC saw a real threat of losing votes to oppo party, so these PAP guys scheme a plan involving the likely medallists, put arrogant Ah Lee in charge, and so later it could rally the voters with the medal. Their plan does work but ah Lee made a mistake that arouses the people who ask for her resignation.

It is not true that you can't find local players, there are many willing to be trained. One good reason is that not only the medal won by FT people can justify their huge spending on FT citizens, PAP could also pull in new citizens' votes to keep them in power. You see, PAP loves new citizens, there is no doubt why new citizens should not vote PAP.

Well, PAP may be seen as promoting sports in perculiar way but their motive is no subtle unless voters look deeper.

In their heart, PAP has no intention to promote sports but abusing sports to be a political weapon.

It is obvious that PAP also has no intention to nurture local sports talents becos it will undermine their programmes that benefit the FT people.

If singapore produces its local sports talents to win gold medals, then PAP and cronies would be shamed.
so why does PAP care to spot the local sports talents. Political agenda has overshadowed the sports spirit. This is a sad story for singapore. Sadly, social problems will brew and continue to brew.....

Lee Bee Wah's status at AMK GRC ?

AMK GRC is all about LHL, The Prime Minster is here and that is his fiefdom for the past 20+ years. The other 5 MPs doesn't matter. Nobody is going to vote for / against PAP because of Lee Bee Wah but people will because of LHL.

The great majority of residents never meet their MP at all. Most living in AMK GRC probably doesn't care who's their division MP but of course knew that LHL is the GRC MP.

Yup!! She shot herself in the foot. Given her experience as an MP, she should have been more tactful in dealing with the saga...The storm clouds may be over but the damage down will long be remembered:(

The young WP team did very well at AMK GRC last year.
They are a real threat to topple LHL's turf.

Perhaps the chief of WP may wish to consider a stronger candidate to be placed as a team leader for the young team and fight the next GE, WP may also win the AMK GRC.
Lee Bee Wah is in charge of yishun area, one should go to this part where Bee Wah is holding sway to sway the ground emotion.

One must know that Bee Wah is a malaysian, she can pack and go if singapore fails.

Lee Kuan Yew is alive, PAP will fail to convince the voters that PAP is understanding and consultative. The jam at the CTE will cause voters to vote against PAP aftermath of the tollgates.

But I am happy to see Lee Hsien Loong loses AMK GRC next GE to WP .

Ex-caner patient should not hold PM post but rest for life. We do not know what LHL is trying to prove. If he dies of cancer during his tenure, can he be seen as noble dying for the country--i say this is rubbish.
