Bhutanese slap Sylvia Lim: “Liar, go and fly kite!”

Pathological liar, Syvliar Lim, had lied in 1Singapore Parliament that Bhutanese are very happy with their Gross National Happiness index and that 1Singapore should also follow suit:

As many of us know, the kingdom of Bhutan has an unusual way of measuring the country’s development. It is called GNH or Gross National Happiness. This indicator is garnering international attention, even among developed countries.

Well, the Bhutanese have exposed one of the many lies spread by Syvliar Lim inside 1Singapore Parliament:

Bhutan's opposition party has swept to power in the Himalayan kingdom's second-ever election due to voter concerns about the economy and the country's famed "Gross National Happiness" index, analysts said Sunday.

Despite expectations of a neck-and-neck contest, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) won a decisive 32 seats in the lower house of parliament, drubbing the incumbent Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT) party which took just 15 seats.

Bhutan is the only country in the world to measure Gross National Happiness (GNH), a development model that focuses on mental well-being and protecting Buddhist culture and the environment, as well as economic growth.

But voters were unhappy that former Prime Minister Jigmi Y. Thinley at times seemed more interested in promoting GNH outside the country while there were problems at home, said Tenzing Lamsang at The Bhutanese newspaper.

The former government "took GNH too far, focused too much on it", he told AFP, adding his belief that the new PDP leaders "will be more realistic in promoting GNH".

Just like the outgoing Bhutanese government, Syvliar Lim is also more interested in promoting GNH so as to distract and hoodwink the public attention from her incompetence and dishonesty in Town Council mismanagement.

If Syvliar Lim had not focused so much on GNH and taking it so far, all her Town Council mismanagement woes could have been avoided.

Since Syvliar Lim is so obsessed with GNH, she should use it to measure the happiness level of her hawkers before wanting to “Let’s Move On”.
