There are 1.8 billion Muslims. U must do ur homework if u wish to know the truth. Hearsay...not always reliable. Just like tat doktoh story. Now AW thread become rojak thead.

Yes. I distinguish between a race and a religion. You don't have a choice with race whatsoever. You are born that way and nothing you can do can change that. Even Michael Jackson go whiten his skin cannot change that. So I will never hantam someone for their race nor will I let it slide.

Religion on the other hand is a construct of philosophy. Whether or not people realise it, it's a choice. Everyday, someone chooses to be Muslim, Christian, whatever. You also have to choose to be a good person or not etc... Today I may choose to be Christian for example, but what's stopping me from giving up tomorrow or being Muslim tomorrow. Nothing. Maybe people will hate you or whatever, but you can still make that choice. You cannot change your face and skin colour or DNA.

So when it's a choice, I believe people should make choices responsibly, meaning to themselves, their society and their loved ones. Religion is a choice, politics is a choice. So when people make choices poorly, it really is a shame. sayang.

One other thing. For a mudslime to leave, must apply Sharia court etc like ok n mudland, but for Christians etc, u leave just leave, why need external permission? religion is a personal thing. How come the mudslime religion so bloody Kay poh? And why a non believer marry a mudslime must convert to b mudslime? Why the mudslime cannot convert to other religions? In mainstream Christianity, the rule n written in the Bible is the spouse must convert to Christianity . But now Christians have given that right to mudslimes.

We all know that..and yr drugs wearing off...tat why I go cina and foreign cusine which serve pork. No mudslimes . Can eat in peace. But if a mudslime go to a cina place and have a drink etc kopi or bottle water and he has halal food. The cinas won't kick up a fuss like the way mudslimes Do. N pls take yr drugs ..u not high anymore

but with you stating that about Christians and marriage, don't you find the ties between the Abrahamic faiths even more obvious? As far as I am concerned, it's tough to separate the basis of the 3. They just ended up evolving differently. With Christianity, they just decided they had enough of that idea and did what they wanted I guess.

I try. but with 1.8 billion, it's a tough job. I make an effort not to use hearsay, I try to observe, that's why the dogs issue came up. I see so many different treatment of dogs in different countries that I realised that there is really no consensus. Reading texts really helps me not at all for that reason.

I agree with don't be too extreme, but with tafsir and imams, aren't you relying on another human to guide you on what to do? Shouldn't you rely on a personal connection instead? In my mind, we are all equal before god right? So why not direct line? Why use operator?

If certain instructions are stated in Quran/Hadiths, we will take tat as a guide. Those which we are not too sure, we rely on Mufti for guidance.

Yes, we pray to Allah. Direct. Imam can guide the congregation too...

That is only if the entire eatery is certified halal. If it is one, two stall/s that is/are selling halal food in an eatery (amongst others that don't), pork, donkey balls, or whatever crap, are allowed to be served in that eatery. If the business owner decides that he wants to make his entire eatery halal, that is his call. It is as simple as that. He is the one putting up the money and taking the business risks, not you and any of the loonies here.



If a business wants a halal certificate, it is fucking obvious the Muslims are the business' target market. As a non-Muslim, you are absolutely under no fucking obligation to eat halal food or eat in that halal eatery. There are tens of thousand of eateries that sell non-halal food. So, what exactly is your problem with this???

The REAL Reason McDonald’s, KFC and Red Rooster Offer Halal Food

Australia’s biggest fast food chains are increasingly selling halal food in a bid to win over Muslim customers.
Kentucky Fried Chicken has even stopped serving pork-based bacon altogether in parts of Sydney and Melbourne where there’s a sizable Islamic population.
McDonald’s is also catering for Muslim customers, by halal certifying 21 restaurants in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Canberra.

A much smaller Australian-owned rival, Red Rooster, this week confirmed it was trialling halal gravy with a view to possibly rolling it out nationally.
Muslims make up just 2.6 per cent of Australia’s population but in parts of Sydney, they are a majority, making 59 per cent of Lakemba residents.

In this suburb with a mosque, McDonald’s runs a halal-certified restaurant that keeps pork-based bacon separate from other foods.
Nationally, the world’s biggest fast food chain has 21 halal-certified restaurants, 12 of which are in Sydney, including in the heavily Muslim suburbs of Greenacre and Punchbowl, where Islam was practised by 42 per cent and 36 per cent of residents during the 2016 Census.

‘We have a small number of restaurants which hold a halal certification,’ a spokeswoman said on Friday.
‘These restaurants are located in areas where there is strong demand from the local community.’
McDonald’s also operates halal-certified outlets in Bankstown, Granville and Liverpool, along with Preston and St Albans in Melbourne and in the Perth suburbs of Mirrabooka and Ballajura.
‘Not all items served are certified halal,’ spokeswoman Julia Buckland said.
‘Items that are certified halal are listed on a halal certificate in the restaurant.’
In June, KFC confirmed it would no longer sell bacon at Bankstown and Punchbowl, in south-west Sydney and at Fawkner in Melbourne’s north.
This week, Red Rooster said it had been trialling for two weeks a halal gravy, free of pork fat, at its Bass Hill store in south-west Sydney, with a view to possibly rolling it out nationally.

‘When looking at new products there are processes we follow that can take up to 12 months.’
Not all major fast-food outlets halal certify their products, with Domino’s in 2013 ending halal certification at its Auburn store in Sydney’s west because of low demand.

‘To focus on our national core menu, we can confirm no Domino’s stores are halal certified – bacon and pork products are sold in all stores,’ spokesman Nathan Scholz said.
Third party halal certifiers argue Australian companies have a better chance of exporting their produce to Muslim-majority nations.
In 2017, however, no Muslim-majority countries were among Australia’s top 10 trading partners, with Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade data showing Malaysia and Indonesia at No.11 and No. 13.

A good point u bought up. I am glad that mudslimes have said no pork no lard is non halal. Teach these assholes a lesson in pandering to mudslimes..for MOS burger, the standard has really dropped. So does not bother me
