I don't think so. Only 33% actually voted for the PAP at the last elections. Many had no opportunity to vote. In 1991, they voted in 4 opposition candidates. That should tell us something about Singaporean voters.

I seldom comes across people talking favorably about the PAP. The only favourable comment appears in the Straits Times and the usual idiots like Lionel and Ace Kindred Cheong.

If we are stupid, it is because, we still think that majority of singaporeans voted for the PAP when it was not the case.

He may be ahead of the times, but many Singaporeans are ignorant, stupid, cowardly, easily brainwashed, materialistic, greedy and well behind the times.

I heard from a "blue" taxi driver before that his company went to schools to question principals if they can trust private school bus drivers and their so call small companies. However what the "blue" company can offer is comprehensive insurance from their powerful insurance company backed by MIW & Co. Principals panicked signed contract with them and chased the private company out.

Then they went to tell drivers that they had lost their jobs and its better that they sell their buses to them and continue to drive for the company. So end up buses changed colour and drivers changed uniforms. same buses, same drivers, but all kanna makaned.

This is genius but what's a "blue" taxi driver? He's unhappy? Or "blue" as in blue chips?

Chee's folly is that he has made this a personal agenda when it does not need to be. He should remember that he himself had allowed the PAP to screw by his own actions.

1. Chee has never ever denied that he used NUS research funds to courier his wife's thesis to the States or provided a credible explanation for the inflated taxi fares. Everyone knows that it was politically motivated but why help the PAP by giving them the rope to be hanged in the first place.

2. When painted into a corner, he should have let sleeping dogs lie. Instead he compounded the matter and ended up making allegations that he led him to be sued by Vasoo.

3. After the "deer getting caught in the headlights " look by both Chee and Kunalan during the Parliamentary inquiry after getting the figures wrong, one would have thought that he would have learnt his lesson and be thorough with his research. Instead he made another allegation about the non-existent loan to Indonesia. The matter was already mentioned in the press. That led to him being made a bankrupt.

4. Thru out, one thing was very evident, he could not reasonably gauge singaporeans take on politicking. How come JBJ, Chiam, Low, Seow, Ling, Tang, GMS, Ti Lik and even Jufrie score so well in the polls but not Chee. Why singaporeans could not take to him. The most silliest explanation I have heard is that he is ahead of his time - how so?

5. No other party supporters other than Chee's have the habit of labelling any criticism of their leaders as that coming from PAP apologist, and associated with propaganda. One has to ask how smart can a party be when the highlight of their thought process was coming with t-shirts with kangaroos and going to court. How effective is that.

Either get a life or find someone with a capacity to think.
