I came across this poem by Wonhyo, an eminent Buddhist monk. Though it is not intended for politicians, it carry insights that perhaps may be of value to Dr Chee and the SDP.
When mending a garment,
A short needle is needed - not a long sword
When it is raining,
A small umbrella is needed,
Just big enough to cover the head - not the entire sky
Little things are not to be taken lightly.
Depending on the matter,
All things - big or small - are equally precious
A short needle is needed - not a long sword
When it is raining,
A small umbrella is needed,
Just big enough to cover the head - not the entire sky
Little things are not to be taken lightly.
Depending on the matter,
All things - big or small - are equally precious
