Police explained that an operation early on Friday morning resulted in a total of 87 suspects being arrested.
78 of them were women aged between 17 and 52 who were arrested for vice related activities.
there were also 25 motorists who were stopped for random breath tests. 9 of them were arrested for drink driving as their Breath Evidential Analyzer (BEA) test was above the legal limit of 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath.
The men arrested for drink driving were all aged between 25 and 57.
The raids were conducted between back alleys in Geylang as well as at shophouses and coffee shops.
The raid was conducted as part of a joint operation with the SCDF and the Police.
