I'm guessing that IRIS was your baby?

It was designed with bandwidth and storage constraints in mind?

Well, not all documents (if tendered at all) are scanned into the system (whether on purpose or by deceit?).

Anyway, I know what I printed was from the property tax computer system. But there isn't even a statement saying 'this is printed by the computer, therefore no signature is required'.

The IRAS official paper don't even have a letterhead, address or something? It only has the logo on the top right of the paper.

I know only employees have access to the paper.........yadayadayada.........
but you know what I'm implying right?

Actually, right now, I still wish I have access to the system.:p

You are wrong about this form being a "blank check." The information on it is from the property tax computer system. The only variable is the form's date of issue.

John,

I'm referring to this document in particular, where the signature of the seller is suspect:

<a href="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/5827/1096/1600/Exhibit%2006a.2.jpg"><img src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/5827/1096/400/Exhibit%2006a.1.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />

<a href="http://photos1.blogger.com/img/161/5753/1024/Exhibit%2006b.jpg"><img src="http://photos1.blogger.com/img/161/5753/400/Exhibit%2006b.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />

The transaction was captured in IRIS, but the backing document wasn't anywhere to be found in the system. I couldn't very well ask my superior whether there was any hard copy. I searched high and low for two months and I couldn't find anything. The re-sale one year on, however, was captured in full with the backing document scanned into the system.

The funny thing was the document wasn't captured in the Land Registry system either. Only the hard copy was archived. And it took hell of a lot explaining and insisting on my part to get hold of it.

First off, I am not talking about documents submitted to IRAS, but documents furnished by IRAS.

Secondly, at the time I was at IRAS, I was opposed to optical scanning. Nevertheless, Alan Ow of IRAS bought one (an expensive one) on a trip to America.

We had a lot of rejects from the scanner. At an IRAS meeting, I was asked what we should do. At the time, we were in the Fullerton Building. I told them that since it was nearby, that we should throw the optical scanner into the Singapore River.

Scroobal,

Did you not realise that you were doubting an 'ang moh twa kee'?

"John Harding has lived and worked in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Singapore, Italy, Jamaica and Belgium. This includes work for the largest OPEC member, Saudi Aramco, a position as Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Inland Revenue in Singapore’s civil service, and a Wall Street investment analyst.

John has been a professor at Pratt Institute of Technology’s Graduate School of Engineering in New York City, and at King Fahd University in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. He has also worked for the United Nations Development Programme, and as a consultant to the United Nations Secretariat in New York.

A native-born American, John speaks Italian, French, Spanish, with a working knowledge of Arabic."

I hope you understand, that the chap is painting too many scenarios on everything. Even the original issue about the house in Holland Rd is full of holes. Even he himself has said that he is looking for answers when confronted by a netizen about what exactly is the proof. He sourced it from Wiki.

By the way we are talking about Chip Goodyear who has proven track record in the International corporate world, not some Ah Beng who suddenly became a CEO after becoming a zone RC chairman.

The critics of this regime will lose credibility if they buy into every speculation by nincompoop.

So what is the proof?

Why don't you ask him about Chip Goodyear and the meaning of character assasination.

Check the earlier post, I already told you its the wrong guy. He came into this thread and completely evaded the chip goodyear allegation. Instead talking about Indians conquering Singapore and to learn tamil. Common sense would have told you that's odd. Which part don't you get?

Why don't you tell me?

Why would he want to do a character assasination on this guy? His own countryman?

What does he gain?

According to this Goodyear family tree,

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb...jpg-200dpi/Goodyear family tree - page 72.jpg

8354458.jpg

Charles Waterhouse Goodyear III was born 1909, married 1932, screwed his wife, Mary E Thompson, for one whole year before he got unlucky, and Charles Waterhouse Goodyear IV was born. He added another two sons and a daughter within the next 10 years.

According to Wiki,

8354476.jpg

the ex-CEO of BHP Billiton, Charles Waterhouse Goodyear IV, was born in 1958, also of a Charles Waterhouse Goodyear III, and a Mary E Thompson.

Are you saying that somebody deliberately fabricated the above family tree?

During the period 1997 – 1999, Mr. Goodyear worked for Goodyear Capital Corporation, of which he was President and sole owner. It was his company.

Often people claim they were working for their own company, or were a “consultant,” they were actually unemployed. It fills a gap in their resume.

Goodyear Capital Corporation was incorporated by the talented Mr. Goodyear in the state of Louisiana on Oct. 28, 1996.

The state of Louisiana revoked the charter of Goodyear Capital Corporation on Feb. 21, 2006.

In Louisiana, corporations have their charters revoked as punishment for failing to file required corporate reports with the state of Louisiana for a period of 3 years. There is no other reason.

Since Goodyear Capital Corporation was in existence for only 3 years, Mr. Goodyear of Singapore’s Temasek never filed his corporate reports. The talented Mr. Goodyear just walked away from his business.

Goodyear declined job offer

CHARLES 'Chip' Goodyear may have left Temasek Holdings in mysterious silence, but the man still appears to be very much in demand.

Mr Goodyear, 51, who became a Temasek board member in February last year and CEO-designate a month later, announced his departure from the Singapore investment company in July.

The Independent reported on Sunday that Mr Goodyear had been offered a job at Metalloinvest, the world's fourth-biggest iron-ore producer. Mr Goodyear, also a former CEO of BHP Billiton, is said to have declined the offer.

The Russian steel group is reported to have approached Mr Goodyear before Christmas as it wanted a big name recognised by Western investors as CEO ahead of an expected London Stock Exchange listing later this year.

However, The Independent said that Mr Goodyear declined the offer from Metalloinvest founder Alisher Usmanov, the 46-year-old Russian billionaire who holds a 26 per cent stake in Arsenal Football Club.

The Independent also cited an industry source who said that Mr Goodyear rejected the offer quickly because he is said to prefer to be involved in a company with 'a global footprint that needs advice'. The source said Mr Goodyear hopes to land a big job in the first half of this year.

The departure of Mr Goodyear from Temasek last year had taken many by surprise. The reason given at the time by Temasek was 'unresolved strategic differences'.

Temasek's board had identified and approached Mr Goodyear as early as 2007 and spent more than a year wooing him. Last month, Insead business school ranked Mr Goodyear one of the world's 200 best CEOs for his role in BHP Billiton.

Ranked 35, his performance was based on factors such as shareholder returns and changes in market value. -- MYPAPER

10 points for imagination jack shit (to borrow Ah Sam's vocab).

If this is the social security record of Charles Waterhouse Goodyear III, that would make him 49 when 'Chip' was conceived.

Even if he could get it up, would his wife have the eggs?

When you send this to Insead, they might ask you read the comment in his blog and the second genelogy tree that has 2 different set of parents for Charles Goodyear I. I don't want t hold your hand as you need get over your adulation of the angmo and not be afraid to ask him to make that claim again here.

I think someone mentioned it:

i think you got the wrong information. according to your so-called Goodyear family tree, Charles Waterhouse Goodyear was born 1846 in Cortland , NY and his wife is Ellen Portia Conger.

Well, according to all the information i can find on Charles Goodyear, the actual Charles Goodyear is born 1800 in New Haven, Connecticut, and his wife is Omar Ghori.

plus he have a son, William Henry Goodyear (1846 – 1923), which was strangely absent from your Goodyear family tree.

Is it possible that you got the wrong information? if you’re wrong, please retract your claims.

You should check a bit more thoroughly. You are referring to Charles Goodyear of the rubber family. The Wikipedia states that Charles Waterhouse “Chip” Goodyear IV has exactly the same family tree that I published. There is a lot more research that I did on this – more than I have space or time for here. If Charles Waterhouse “Chip” Goodyear IV were descended from the rubber Goodyear, calculating that this Goodyear was born in 1800, the 4th generation would be born around 1900, making your pal “Chip” about 109 years old. My guess is that “Chip” might be a long time plant – like Clinton, perhaps. My guess is also that you might be a plant as well.

Now, you scroobal, would only be right if the rubber family Goodyear had a bad year, and skipped the tradition of 'naming after the old man' for one or two generations.
