That is exactly why he can't sleep. If convincing win, people will say, ''look at the opposition.'' If embarrassed, people will say, ''even this type of opposition, also can't get convincing win.''
PM Lee cares primarily about winning. Opposition so useless that they view reducing his 69% majority to 60% majority as a victory.
I don't think the PM worries too much about what people think about the results.
If he wins, he wins... it is plain and simple. Let's move on with the work and do the job of governing well.
