Could I make a personal plea not to infract or ban the following longstanding Forummers;
Jah Rastafar
Tonychat
Sideswipe

Here are the reasons

Jah is rather unique amongst racists. Nearly all of us have issues that fall in the stereotype category when it comes to other races. It's either their mannerisms or unsavoury practices. He is the only one that thinks Malays and Indians discriminate the Chinese and treat the Chinese badly. He genuinely thinks with his heart. Logic therefore is not even a concept. Forget about Intelligence. A rare individual and close to a national treasure.

It took me years to recognise the importance of Tonychat. I only realised it when I took a survey to find out if he should be considered a spammer. I felt that he was saying the same thing repeatedly but with free text. I recall that Sam was first to come to his rescue and so did others. He is what you call an "Aspirin". You had a bad day, things are slipping away fast. You think that you are a failure and to come into SBF for relief. The moment you see a post from Tonychat and you instantly realise that you are actually a roaring success. And this guy is irreplaceable. How many of us have come across a chap that is prepared to be front and centre with absolute nothing.

As to Sideswipe, anyone care to comment about this interesting forummer?

I have nothing against sideswipe. He is against you for reasons that completely escape me. Apart from that, his posts are sane, never long-winded, and occasionally incisive. Good grasp of history especially Asian history. But not anything out of the ordinary, no inside baseball, no special insight.

Someone who just wants to state an opinion, IMO. Football is his passion.

Dear scroo, I share your sentiments too but sadly as a Mod has to be impartial and therefore I cannot accede to your request. I am sure they too share a mutual admiration for you and no doubt will declare the same of you in this thread and elsewhere they can be heard.

I have to add that in fact I have a greater admiration for other members of SBF, namely those monickers with chameleon-like personalities. Don't you admire them too? I am struck by the manner they carried themselves and interact with other forummers that in no time at all their reputation grew and grew. They are ever so popular among the crowd, saying exactly the right things leaving do doubt that they are the genuine article. Other new members were left scrtaching their heads wondering where they went wrong.:*:

What is so special about these chameleons is that whilst they intermingled and TCSS no awkward questions were ever asked of them. You would think those members were under a spell, maybe because of some Thai amulet they wear.:*:

Learn from Leongsam. No one can wear him out because he knows how to be above it all. People are trying to wear you out because you get involved and micromanage. No way anyone can last.

The previous forum was shattered because of banning, so you can see why the old timers want less moderation. Scroobal has his quirks as do I. Don't take anyone too seriously, especially me. I am not a straightforward person.

Just learn to be above it and develop a nonchalent attitudent that nobody can exploit. Behind the scenes, do the necessary dirty work but never let anyone know what you've done. In this way, you remain unreadable and people will be trying to figure YOU out rather than the other way round.

Indeed. He gives me the creeps too. Kinda like the other conspiracy theorists in this forum. Babbling on and on about their persecution by some powerful, nefarious forces that only exist in their delusions. Schizophrenia is now a serious problem in Sinkieland from what I've observed. :(

I like Sideswipe. He is a history buff, with special interest in Taiwan/ROC history and current affairs, interest in political systems and election statistics, likes football but seldom watches BPL these days, a little tiko pek over Jap chiobus but seems to have grown out of that, hahaha.

This is how the feud between u 2 started. He was discussing about political systems, u corrected him for some mistakes he made, he was not happy and started to argue, u got fed up and started scrooing him.
I asked u not to be too harsh on this young man, u also scrooed me for interfering in a subject I knew little about (which was true). Later Sideswipe admitted that u were probably right, but he was just too stubborn and insistent on his views.

However, the same type of dispute between u2 happened again and he started to become one of your part-time trolls. :o

If he would only provide some personal experiences or real stories of why he thinks like that, he won't be so interesting. :o

Tonychat I believe started off as a pap hater and true blue singaporean.
As things got tough for him or he started to be disgusted at things happening around him, he perhaps became a victim of the stockholm syndrome and started to sympathise with his kidnappers and started to take it out on his fellow captives.
He and leongsam are a little similar in hating pap and being true singaporeans actually, except that leongsam managed to escape and now spends his time mocking his former kidnappers and fellow captives.
