Mahathir thinks more like an idiot that opening a Seaport will impact Singapore. He did not succeed and even though he denied and said it was competition, the intend is there. The insistence to build the crooked Scenic Bridge and destroy the Causeway, is to enable ships to pass through, which Singapore rightly refuse to cooperate. Mahathir's beggar your neighbour attitude is well-known by our leaders, don't be fooled that Mahathir has our interests at heart.

Selective competition from certain countries is 'undercut & sabotage'. He has chosen our two nearest neighbours for a special reason - Muslim neighbours. It is to strike fear in voters, period. To ensure they get to rule for as long as possible.

We must thank Mahathir for his inept and corrupt government. Otherwise the billions of ringgit that that are supposed to be used to build Port Klang could really threaten Singapore's port. Fortunately, the billions went to line the pockets of UMNO, MCA, MIC and Barisan component parties.

If this was a chicken rice war, Spores chicken rice would cost more than the Malaysians. On the Spore side they will of course squeeze the wages of the worker bees & that's why we hear of Sporeans going to work for the Malaysians.
