Before I went to NS, I was the typical spoiled brat. Never managed to do a single pull up before and never had to lift a single finger to do any house work. By the time I finished BMT, I could do 12. My SOC time is the best in the whole battalion, only when I am in the mood and when the occasion is right, for there are days off as reward. The rest of the time, I report sick when SOC or other crap training is scheduled, no point letting the useless plumb PTI tekan you when he is less fit than you are. Washing toilet is far more annoying than doing IPPT, SOC, crawling around playing soldiers (quite fun actually), et cetera.
