I'm a beneficiary of Mr Lee's policies. We grew up in a very poor family but that did not deny us an education. Free textbooks and bursaries. We went on to get our degrees. If I were born in India, or Malaysia or Indonesia, I doubt this would be possible. We had to work hard but there was a helping hand. Mr Lee inspires confidence because he is a man of courage.

Are you the only one? the people of India, Malaysia, Indonesia, still survive & live & has produced generations of people who in themselves helped bring their countries forward into this century.

We have lived through life, where we have common taps, muddy paths & roads, latrines were made of wood, zinc roof or none that drained into a hole on the ground or have disposal by the 36 doors vehicles...we have rivers teaming with dead animals, rubbish & when it rains...the place floods, we have mosquitoes buses...we have open air cinema, that the SHOW will go on, even it rains & you watch a movie with chickens ducks etc..wandering around...we have children, many could not afford schools....some of my classmates, never made past secondary two...some never even completed primary six, some of my neighbours never even attended school ( cannot afford)... you are the only one that benefited..please go suck a lollipop!

What I am saying is...the people had not worked hard...there will be no SINGAPORE..it is fortunate that LKY & his team, had a populace, who were willing to work with them & work hard, believing in them.

Yes..we have to give credit to one man but....we do not have to suck him up so much...he alone did not build SINGAPORE..we will move on, survive...the sun will still shine, the earth will still rotate....without him..it is time, we say, our good byes!

Today, a foreign student from India, Philippines, etc could get scholarship, bursary, etc from pappies for free education in sinkieland but without having to perform NS like a sinkie. Are sinkies better off today than these foreign students?

LKY did look after sinkies when he came to power but time changed his perception and he decided sinkies are daft.

Think about it and you will see sinkies are screwed.

Sinkees don't give a damn about Old Fart

The reporters covering Old Fart's news are so unethusiastic; they can't even smile.

Their countenance is no different from that of North Korean reporters.

Sinkees can't even bother to go to SGH; instead, PAP is using our public funds to set up locations for sinkees to 'show' their love for old fart.

When PAP interviews people, they hardly can produce a few people to say something. They have to showcase a foreigner. So much for enthusiasm.

PAP media can't even do a good job with propaganda.

All company benefits have a limit but Old Fart's benefits funded by our tax dollars seems not to have any limit. 7 weeks in ICU costs how much? With Old Fart, he gets 4 nurses and 2 doctors watching him 24/7 ...how much does it cost taxpayers? SGH have to set up area for sinkees to throw junks they don't want in his honour ...how much extra cost to SGH?

When he kicks the bucket, Pinky will give him a state funeral and spend our tax dollars to fly in dignitaries so to give Old Fart a pompous funeral.

I reckon that the total cost for his hospitalization and funeral will run easily to $50 million. $50 million of money that could have benefitted at least a few thousand sinkees.

no amount of money can buy back the damage he has done to hundreds of thousands of sinkies whos life were lost.
The least he could do is to give back all his entire bank account to the living and suffering sinkies.

President Tony Tan Keng Yam says the expressions of encouragement for Mr Lee Kuan Yew reflect the appreciation that Singaporeans have for what Mr Lee has done for Singapore.

SINGAPORE: President Tony Tan Keng Yam said his wife and he are, like all Singaporeans, "deeply concerned" about the condition of Singapore's first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.

His post on Facebook on Sunday evening (Mar 22) comes after the Prime Minister's Office announced that Mr Lee, now critically ill in hospital, has weakened further.

"We are grateful to the medical and nursing teams providing round-the-clock care to Mr Lee and all other patients in hospital now. As our healthcare professionals deliver the very best medical care possible, may they continue to have strength and stamina in their tireless efforts," Dr Tan wrote, in a note signed by him and his wife Mary.

"Many have paid tribute to Mr Lee’s remarkable achievements and sent him well wishes for strength. These expressions of encouragement reflect the appreciation that Singaporeans have for what Mr Lee has done for Singapore.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the Prime Minister and their family at this difficult time," he added.
