If LHL suddenly dies this year, TCH will probably become interim PM, since that's one of the official duties of a DPM, and especially since three-quarters of Singapore citizens are Chinese. The Lee dynasty in Singapore would also probably come to an end.

it is not the case that anyone who worked for the Japanese were considered as traitors then. lots of people worked in mostly lowly jobs for the Japanese, they generally worked as drivers and laborers. the translators were a special group, they were treated as traitors by the people. why ? the people knew what those translators really did then. there is definitely more to this Japanese translator job then than it appears on the outside.

They should ask themselves why there was no such ill-feelings shown towards Mr Goh Keng Swee, Mr S Rajaratnam, Mr Toh Chin Chye, Mr Eddie Barker, Mr Ong Teng Cheong et al?
