Imagine China disintegrating into a collection of nation states, just like post-Soviet Russia.

the question is not why people hate chinaman, but the question is when they will kill chinaman and kick them out, like during in 70's for the vietnamese boat people.

i wonder when will that happen.

we are also the same, our grandfathers and their fathers come from china too. we have the same traits, is just that we are more cultured. we like to flaunt wealth and like face value. the only difference between s'pore chinese sinkies is that we take care more of our etiquette.
they will catch up with us probably in another 20 or 30 years. goodbye s'pore then...

Although the Han Chinese are also made up of many sub groups, they are far more homogenous than say the Europeans or the people in the former USSR.

Han Chinese have been united since Qin Shih Huang more than 2,000 years ago. Even though they speak different dialects, they share the same written language and culture. They celebrate the same festivals, believe in the same legends, worship the same folk heroes, etc.

Go to China and you will be surprised at the similarities of the Chinese from the different provinces.

China is anything but homogeneous. Many ethnic minorities and autonomous regions.

When the Communist Party falls the map shall be redrawn.

i've been saying for over 10 years that will happen.......................but a long deep recession is needed..................then when tens of millions of jobless people start creating problems...................

Jewish puppets planted long ago in the military and the Party will revolt..................

bro, you are wrong, chinese are actually very suspicious of one another when benefits are concerned. they are just modest and do not show it.

Let's not even talk so much about the various sub groups of Han Chinese. The Southerners (mostly Cantonese) can't stand the Northerners (Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong etc), and vice versa. Geographically, and historically, the Yangtze river has been the natural barrier that separates these two groups of people.

They are adopting the sinkapore model - freedom to make money but butt out of politics. They have the former but no latter, just like us.

Humbly agreed with it.
It is a smart move. but whether CCPC can hold the tide against?

Even in this small Sinkie land, PAP is falling...
