- Any other revenue source through this community?
- What are your costs running this site?
- How many unique people are using it?
- How many pageviews/hits?

You're a nut case. Why on earth would the PAP want this forum??? I'll be perfectly frank.... none of the members here are a threat. The only person they might be mildly interested in is Scroobal as he does seem to be capable of causing embarrassment although he's a very lightweight political opponent in my view.
However, in order to lower the value of the forum in the eyes of the PAP, I'd like to categorically state that scroobal does an excellent job of covering his tracks and buying over this site would leave you none the wiser.

How does the website calculate revenue? Looks rather dodgy to me.
Based upon data that tracks visits vs revenue. It's all statistical. Conversions will invariably fall within a statistical range.
Suppose the conversion rate is 1%. This means that for every 100 unique visits, 1 visitor clicks through on the ads and makes a purchase which averages say $4 so the site makes $4 x affiliate share % for every 100 visitors.
If there are 1000 visitors daily, then the site revenue per day is $40 x affiliate share %.
Affiliate program revenue sharing can range from 5% to a hefty 40% depending on product or service advertised.

The main traffic comes not from members but from unregistered visitors who pop by for their daily dose of lunatic drivel for whatever reason.
In the earlier days, I activated skimlinks which automatically added links to key words in a message. http://skimlinks.com/
Skimlinks is built into vbulletin4 and can be activated at the click of a button. However, many members complained that it was slowing down the loading of the pages so I disabled it.
Skimlinks was earning in the region of USD20 per day in revenue... not a huge amount but definitely better than the InfP sales.
