On talking point, someone called in to ask her "Are you proud to win the meddle under the Singapore flag or the China flag"

FTW replies "It doesn't matter which flag I represent, as long as I am given the chance to shine... To be proud of myself... China is the country I was born in, Singapore is the country that gave me this chance"

The host then asked her "So are you proud to be representing the Singapore flag??"

She avoided answering the question with a yes or no, and said "I am thankful to Singapore for giving me this chance"

To me, it means she will take off and return to China after all these.

All of us know her reply.
I was born in China,I came to Singapore for the money and the opportunity to play in Olympics.
The host then asked her "So are you proud to be representing the Singapore flag??"
It is a job well done.

Want to fuck, fuck the MIWs with their fucked up policies.

Were you expecting her answer to be "Of course I am proud to win the medal for my adopted country. I came here willingly to embrace her gracious ways of living, to better opportunities for my next generation, and to integrate into a superior culture which me and my ex-comrades have always admired. And being given this chance to represent her in the Olympics is like icing on the cake!!!"

Cheers!

Just curious :

Is the medal won by that country or that sportperson representing that country ?

If it is the latter, and the latter gets to keep the medal, then FTW answer that she is glad Singapore gave her the chance is valid and truthful.

I don't blame her for it, as if I will be given a chance to representing another country (which my own coutry refused to give me that chance, maybe others are better) I would glady grab that chance by another country. Afterall nothing to loose and yet gets a huge reward if my skills allows it! Is a fair deal for her.

It is the stupid country that pays a reward to 'buy' a medal.

Nothing wrong with that. Sports people treat their countries like sports clubs looking for the chance to make it the furthest. Some England soccer players would even rather skip representing England if they can.

She's a ping pong whore.

Compare this to what the Malaysian female diver said when being interviewed after winning the bronze medal : I am proud of Malaysia, I hope Malaysia will be proud of me too.

The 2 bronzes which we bought (won), there is nothing to be proud about.
