Do you know why Germany lost 5-3 recently to Switzerland on their friendly match? Because No. 2 Marc Stegen who is solid (only) at club level and lacked International experience was put on trial by Joachim. Part of the reason for Switzerland's win was also because the Swiss had wanted to break the voodoo.

Last season, u told me that Monchengladbach goalie Stegen was the best thing since sliced bread.
I thought the main reason was because Herr Per was playing.

He is good but young and untested for Germany. Must let him gain experience mah. But all keepers falling behind Neuer, club and International will never stand a chance unless he hits 35 years of age or gets injured.
