Packing luggage is a hassle, yes. But I've never arranged for anyone to send me on receive me on arrival. It's part of the thrill and experience, figuring out ways solo adventurously. But of course, if I was traveling with female companions, I'd arrange for people to recieve and escort us, or if not, go for travel agency.
What adventure are you talking about when I'm referring to to and fro the same old spots ?
The same old spot is even easier. You're already familiar with how to clear CIQ, where to get your taxi, bus or train transit. Why bother others to come to receive you? You wait for me and I wait for you, I look for you and you look for me, wasting all the time. The seasoned traveler just check out and go and visit them.

I tell you, it's a personal choice. There are times when you feel the need for being adventurous; there are times when you prefer to have a companion. There is no adventure when you're already so familiar with the airports.

Re-read. I've already said it's not necessarily about adventuring, it can also be about too frequent routine and saving time. If you're about personal preference, I have no objection. I've also said, safety of lady friends or relatives must be priority. In those cases, I won't consider it a bother if I was asked to receive them. In fact, I'd insist. But if a man, unless sick or handicapped, asked that, I'd think he should get indpendent and adventurous himself.

Jah going to work is not macham holiday la like you see my post yesterday I started journey from early morning and getting stuck in the aircraft for 2hrs and ended in hotel at 1am and dinner at that time. Not easy bro. Very tiring. Oh I'll be in states for 17 days but them to and fro total 19 days.

Samui I think very saturated? I dont know. For us is a plus cos we can speak english to farang, alot of times due to chicken and duck talk, khun thai lose alot of farang business, unless dirt cheap for whatever it is.
