Yes, have been calling for people to vest here since 3 years ago. Few listened though. :(
Not in Penang unfortunately but its a good place to go it seems.

Yes i do, i am one of them. Wife said i maybe too much GTA but thats one of my plans to. Don't say unlikely, don't say no. One never knows.
Some people dreams, some people live their dreams. Having dreams is important, dare to dream like the cliche saying. Since dreams are free, might as well dream big right? Dreaming is the first step towards realising it. If you can think about it, there is a chance that it can be realised.

Fantasy? Yes, I have a lot. Preferably the penthouses at the tallest skyscrapers in each city ... I have such dreams but even if I dare to dream, I don't think it will ever become a reality, based on current pathetic status ... A dream will remain dream. I just woke up from my dream and now I face the reality ... But weekend is coming, so can make more dreams with longer sleeping hours. Dream on, all !

Yup dreams are important. Never say never, we are only restricted by ourselves, not others...

Hi
I have been following this forum for more than a year since I bought a house in Nusajaya. Thanks alot for the sharing. I finally "finished" the defects (warranty expiring soon but still some minor items nor rectified!) and reno after 2 yrs. However, I find it inconvenient to stay in JB as I do not drive. My dilemma now is to decide whether to keep it as weekend house or rent it out or sell it. Any advice?

I also changed job recently..got to take public transport to work as there is no parking in my area and season parking is $400 a month.. Pinos, Indians, Caucasians all are taking public transport together... In future you will find these pinos become bankers.. Our liberal employment policy is creating a skill gap among the younger generation.. Entry level jobs given to indians, pinos etc, with experience they get promoted to managers and VPs, local singaporeans will become less and less skill..
and maybe, the most secured jobs will be MHA, Army where only locals are entilted to..

Singapore pool always have good business.. because if you buy, one day you might be a millionaire..maybe we need to be millionaire not because of luxury, we need a few millions in order to survive here in years to come..

Me too, public trp all the way to work...parking and erp is just too expensive to me. And the moment u get on the MRT, you see "everyone" hahaha!
Reason for the job change for me was that my co was taken over... And most of bosses were either asked to go or trf back to Hq...hence new bosses and new culture! Until cannot tahan:confused:

Spore pool gives us "hope"! There is a chance for a better tomorrow.

Now i know why some learned friends of mine, after i shared with them, they did own research and in the end got more than me. People who are lazy only based their decisions in life on hearsay or react only after what is in the news. People who have made the effort to find out more and see for themselves have benefitted rather than those who just kept saying no and never saw for themselves.
Just like stocks, everything needs homework to be done before committing. Due dilligence is always important.

What's that legal word for this - caveat empthor or something like that...ie buyer beware! Right! Sorry my law ver long rusty already!!and if I recall correctly the case is Soloman vs Soloman... Hope I am right!!!
Or probably, I m making a fool of myself here...if I am, ask me to shup up..ok guys.

Hi Spidey,

It sound too familar.. We cannot give up. With our liberal work environment and our so called abnormal union, employees are not protected.. Youth is the strength.. To survive, whether one is in low ranking or in senior management, today you fire someone, the next day you will be fired.. My previous previous HR director after fire a big group of workers, she was shocked to be asked to go as well.. That is the life today.. The VP after sacking all the workers to boast his bonus, he was also asked to go next year.. That is why many years ago I attended numerous expensive courses on trading hopefully to be able to survive on trading one day.. However it is not easy to win on stock markets. too many of us have such dream.. to trade and live in malaysia.. ha.. we cannot give up.. If you fail once, or miss the boat, there might be a ship next day.. If you miss a ship, there might be a plane... Just got to keep trucking.....

I also changed job recently..got to take public transport to work as there is no parking in my area and season parking is $400 a month.. u are too nice to be a boss ! maybe should really draw a clear line when comes to money ....i know u have a gd heart but money is a sensitive issue.
When u loan out the amount of money to the person , be prepare it will never return back ....

Thanks, its really tough, facing loads of work as well as helping others, etc. A bit strained as well as we have to make lot of payments to the
franchisor (who demands payment within 5 days of invoice). I would rather go hungry than to see my staff ever be short of pay cheque so
everything goes to the school including loans for people and even security. Though we have not encountered any issues but we owe it to the
parents who put the greatest work in their lives into our hands.

So yes, loan without thought of return. We even extended the loan terms for her and lowered the monthly amount to be repaid.

As for the job, as it is, working round the clock and on weekends. No matter what one do, its never enough for some.
There is a time to persevere and a time for the last leaf to fall.

Sometimes all a worker needs is a pat on the back, its not as every one will ask you for more money. Some kept quiet
for years without raise and continued working without once taking MC in the last 5 years. For some, it was never about
the money.

Thanks, only you guys think highly of me, sadly at work, no one really does. Worse when it comes to some relatives.
Its ok though, i am happy to just silently contribute.

As quietly as i come, so will i go when its time.

Day trading with momentum is pretty risky, i have done it before and everytime i won, I will drive to my parents place in the middle of the night, wake them up, go to Hans and hand over some to them. Its risky though especially as momentum can stop halfway with new trends being set. Stocks in other countries are also affected by volatile movement in currency fluctuations.

Example being, SGD is going to appreciate shortly, so those holding stocks in USD, etc will see their gains tempered by any such currency movements.

Taiwan is good too and i did explore there as well but has its fair share of natural disasters so anything out for my old folks is out for me. I cannot leave them alone to fend for themselves while i go off in another country. Thats why i am tied to Johore inherently as that is about the only country they will stay permanently.

Thanks, i am just a nobody in actual life and still have lots to learn from everyone.

Lately, just very tired, got a bit down from the constant insults at work. May liquidate
my liquid assets to just go on a long tour with my wife and family. Then again, wife is
going to be due soon so have to shelve it.
