Dear Mr. Kravitz:

With all due respect, it is your video and you can depict anything you wish, but it sure has deviated from the meaning of the song American Woman by a kickass Canadian band, the Guess Who. The American Woman was meant to refer to the Statue of Liberty, representing all the noble things she symbolizes, justice, freedom, fairness, free choice. But this song, that was released during the Vietnam War speaks of the hypocrisy in American policies and the thoughtless involvement in that war. It is an anti-war song, and not some party crazed tune with images of bikini clad females. Perhaps your video was made long after the war ended, but some of us still remember that senseless event. Go sparkle someone else's eyes.
