Youth injured in Orchard Cineleisure attack

I think this has got something to do with the post-80s generation now starting to take up positions in our workforce, including jobs like the Police Force.

The post-80s generation are usually self-centered and obsessed with using their smartphones when they go outdoors.
When it comes to work, they are constantly looking at the clocks on their iPhones to know when they can pack up and go.
And they will always complain (or even refuse outright to take up) if they are given new responsibilities ("Last time I never had to do this one what, why now I must do?").

This is the root cause for a lot of our social issues right now in Singapore.

The root cause goes back to the poor examples and role models that these young adults know as part of their upbringing.

Bro, is Sharon Au (欧菁仙) father one of them?

Or you have any info on him?

He retired long ago. Yes, he is knowledgeable on these matters but most of his colleagues don't trust him. Wasn't referring to him in my post.

So fast, so furious

A man attacked two other men with such sudden ferocity on Thursday night that one of his victims is now in intensive care with suspected head injuries.

The assault happened outside Orchard Cineleisure at about 10pm.

CCTV footage shows how the unarmed attacker knocked both victims to the ground with just his bare fists. He continued attacking them as they lay helpless and stunned.

The attacked were so fast that both victims were not able to defend themselves.

A witness said that what stunned her and her friends was how quick and silent the attack on the second victim had been.

She added: "It was just scary to see something like that happen in front of so many people."
