Youth arrested for theft of motorcycle at Boon Lay

SINGAPORE - Police arrested a 19-year-old youth for his suspected involvement in a case of theft of motorcycle in Boon Lay.
A motorcycle was reported stolen from an open space carpark at Boon Lay Avenue on Sept 26, 2015 at about 9.20 am.
After extensive investigations, officers from the Jurong Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on Sept 28 at Ho Ching Rd. Police also recovered the stolen motorcycle.
The suspect will be charged in court on Sept 30 for an offence of Theft of Motor Vehicle under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224.
If convicted, he will face a jail term of up to seven years and may also be liable to a fine.
