I'm planning to get one when I back in Taiwan. I haven't driven one before but I like the hatchback and the cabin space it offers. Taiwan offers 1.8 litre model, I think.

Does anyone own a Latio ? Care to share your experience?

Okay, Taiwan 2007 used car going for about SGD 13K.

Why not you buy a Taiwanese car?

I suggest Lugen7 MPV

Made and designed in Taiwan :D

That is too big for me. And at the moment, I think Japanese cars are still a few rungs above Taiwan made. Luxgen is untested (yeah, what a stupid name !).

Nissan is assembled in Taiwan, so I get the best of both worlds. The Taiwan assembled cars are very cheap, and most, if not all, come with moonroof as standard accessories.

Scooters are very cheap too

Why not just get a scooter?

Scooters are not cheap. Nowadays a scooter costs about 70K TWD, which is equivalent to SGD 3K.

And how could you compare a scooter with a car ? I don't even want to point out the obvious.
