Teens start fire and create mess at Bedok Jetty yet still have cheek to pose for picture

A group of rowdy teenagers not only started a fire to burn paper, tobacco and cook a fish they caught at Bedok Jetty, they also left a mess on the floor. Unashamed, one even smiled when STOMPer Deng took a picture of him.

The tobacco they burnt also created a pungent stench that filled the area.

When Deng approached them, the teenagers seemed unfazed and even told him to leave if he didn't like the smell.

In an email, the STOMPer says:

"On Tuesday I was out with my family for a walk at Bedok Jetty when I saw a group of three young boys who started a fire on the jetty.

"They were not only cooking but burning paper and tobacco (commonly known as ang hoon) and the stench was unbearable.

"When I asked them why they were doing this they said it was none of my business and asked me to go away if I didn't like the smell.

"They cooked a fish they caught above and one of them ate it.

"Utterly disgusting and unhygienic!

"They left after they made a complete mess out of the place with rubbish strewn everywhere.

"One of them even smiled when I took his picture and invited me to take more".
