NYC is going to have a socialist mayor​

Ten things that he will do:

• Freeze rents in rent-stabilized apartments
• Raise corporate taxes from 7.25% to 11.5%
• Add a 2% tax on city residents earning over $1 million
• Fund universal childcare, free college, and free public transport
• Increase city minimum wage to $30 an hour by 2030
• Make buses and subways free
• Provide baby baskets for new families
• Expand LGBTQ+ services and protections
• Support access to gender-affirming care
• Strengthen sanctuary city rules
