I am not saying iPhone 4 taking good pictures. Just trying to highlight cellphone with pathetic optics (not even optical zoom), with the aid of computer technology can do marvels. So no need to pour cold water here...

there are 8 mp digital cameras out there on other smartphones that can do a better job. the impressive feature of these cameras and the software is in pixelation re-adjustment and compensation when you zoom in and out. every pixel in the pic can be the focal point... now, iphone engineers at apple have not figured that one out yet. they soon will figure out (by copying) in the next iphone release.

iphone 4 is the one of the best camera from a phone.

but it is no match with DSLR.

but for the size, it is superior camera, it is one of the most expensive sensor for phone.
