You can't even trust Tiong Cock lift doors.

Unfortunately, many newer lifts in Sinkieland are Tiong brand. From new 40-storey HDB flats to lifts for overhead bridges.
Lifts for the MRT stations on the newer lines too.

These are two of the more common brands. There might be more out there.

I have excluded Sigma lifts as Sigma is not a Tiong brand. But they're also terrible... and somehow installed in many of the HDB lift upgrading projects.
Must be much cheaper compared to a trusty Fujitec. PAP town council huat ah! :biggrin:

No you silly 158th presstitutes... it's a SAFETY issue. Your average HDB flat dweller isn't going to care about lift benchmarks like the specs of a computer or a car. Installing Sigma lifts despite knowing about their dangers... in a civilized country, you technocrats would have been strung up on the nearest lamp post. :cool:
