BTW have any of them applied for the $1600 per month dishwasher job at Jumbo yet? Please keep me up to date.

Sam, I think that $1600 per month dishwashing job is waiting for you to come back. Funny they only advertise it to you. Or only you have the eye for this type of job?

A couple of years back there were a bunch of moronic sinkie whores who joined a few white thrash mothers to protest against a restaurant in Singapore, apparently because an ang moh mother was asked to be more discreet in breastfeeding.

I say if these women don't even understand when to be discreet, they should be treated as an uncivilized lot. Even my dog make a point to be discreet at public places.

Notice where this young woman is breastfeeding. Since it is for Facebook, they thought they own the webpages.

Not sure about the whole story of been discreet in breastfeeding. I thought it is a basic courtesy.

I will say that angmos do not give a shit about the connection between breastfeeding and been civilised.

They will always consider themselves civilised while asians are always less civilised if we do not dare to stand up to them.

Fortunately, not all angmos are so open or irresponsible or selfish. Some have common sense and know propriety.

eg While it is quite culturally okay to kiss their cheeks or even hug them, but some of my female colleagues don't do that while in the workplace, and it has nothing to do with sexual harassment. It is just not appropriate.

I understand that the baby will want to be fed (or create a scene with crying babies), but the mothers should be responsible enough to wear the right clothing or have extracted milk in bottles to feed the baby. But the angmos could not care less and love to make excuses.

Very difficult to judge base on this picture. I need to suck on it before i can give any judgements. You asking if the milk is delicious right? :D

Sorry to disappoint you, angmo may eat more salad, but cow's milk still taste better. :D

Facebook is not something that is IMPOSED on anyone. Signing up for a facebook account is absolutely voluntary. Are you really that dumb or are you just pretending to be an idiot in order to be able to identify with the losers you associate with on a regular basis?

Of course Facebook is not something imposed on anyone. I'm referring to the terms and conditions in using Facebook. This was what u stated in your first post. So I'm merely asking what's so wrong about protesting against such terms and conditions. There are many unreasonable terms and conditions in all situations and usually as a result of some form of organised protests that they are changed for the better. Isn't that a fact?

It only goes to show that Leongsam know nuts about the job situation here in S'pore and market pay. In fact, he's totally ignorant of what's really happening in S'pore judging by all his nonsensical posts.

You're behaving like a politician. Why don't you stop beating about the bush and give me a straight answer?

The question is "Have any of your so called poor and disadvantaged that you take care of actually tried applying for the jobs mentioned?".

If they actually tried and it turned out the job actually did not exist or that the pay was grossly exaggerated in the press report, then you obviously will have a great story to tell and you'll also be able to regain some of your lost credibility. At the moment, you're just a lot of hot air.

The story is here : http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/pore-restaurant-group-jumbo-expand-103658070.html

Refer to this paragraph :

He also said that given the tight labour market, the company has had to increase salaries. For example, in the past year and a half, they had to increase the pay of a dishwasher from S$800 to S$1,600.

He said that about half of the company's 670-strong workforce is Singaporean, but the group usually can't get locals to apply for the openings.

So I'm merely asking what's so wrong about protesting against such terms and conditions.

While there may be nothing criminally or technically wrong about protesting, it doesn't alter the fact that it's a dumb thing to do.

"Facebook" is nothing more than a consumer product and it's a free one to boot. The consumer is therefore at liberty to either accept the conditions or use something else. Those who protest over terms and conditions that are not being forced upon them in the first place obviously have far too much time on their hands.
