Yingluck and Thaksin at the WorldCup finals

Why thaksin, yingluck, najib son all attended world cup finals when no asian teams are playing? In fact, no asian players in world cup finals.
It's a cheap PR stunt for Thaksin and YL.
The SOP for their bodyguards is to block people from filming or taking photos of them because it will leak their immediate location. Two years ago, I saw them in RWS and went over to take a closer look. NB, his bodyguards so fierce and kept shouting "No Photos" and frightened my children.
So in this World Cup video, filming was happily allowed and leaked days later (not to leak their immediate location), so i gauge that this is just for their PR, in case their supporters in Thailand forget them.
