What he has done cannot be undone. Every man makes mistakes but his is larger than anyone here could imagine. During a time of crisis, one usually cannot think and decide rationally. Whaever decisions he makes, have the same consequences he deserves. The agonies and sorrows he is going through now.. facing his family, relatives, friends, colleagues and most of all those who voted for him is ernormous and unbearable. In reality he did not harm the public except himself, his family and WP. This this a very painful experience for him and I am very sure it will haunt him and his loved ones for the rest of their lives. Let him be what and where he is. He shall not be forgiven easily but he deserves a second chance as much as he deserves the wraths of his past actions. Somtimes God is also not perfect. Amen!

Parliament asks Yaw whether he will challenge WP expulsion
.Singapore’s Parliament has written a letter to dismissed Workers’ Party Member of Parliament Yaw Shin Leong to check whether or not he intends to appeal against or challenge his expulsion from the party.
Announcing this on Friday afternoon, Speaker of Parliament Michael Palmer said they had received official word of Yaw’s dismissal from Workers’ Party secretary-general Low Thia Khiang on Thursday.
Yaw, who is believed to be overseas at the moment, has until next Friday, 24 February, to respond to the letter sent by the Clerk of Parliament to confirm his position.
According to Article 48(a) of Singapore’s constitution, a member’s seat in Parliament becomes vacant if he ceases to be or is expelled or resigns from the political party for which he stood in the election.
“It is presently unknown whether Mr Yaw is appealing against the Workers’ Party decision or is otherwise challenging his expulsion,” said Palmer. “The decision on the vacancy of Mr Yaw’s seat in this House will be taken when his reply is received or after the expiry of the deadline given to him to reply.”
This procedure to check with the MP concerned, he said, will be consistent with what was done in 1993, when incumbent Potong Pasir MP Chiam See Tong was expelled from the Singapore Democratic Party.
According to WP, Yaw was sacked for not explaining to the opposition party allegations related to his private life.

The disgraced ex-Workers' Party (WP) MP allegedly left Singapore on Wednesday before he was ousted from the party, and is reportedly planning to move overseas to a country not in Southeast Asia, according to The Straits Times.
Most Singaporeans Yahoo! Singapore interviewed felt that Yaw's actions did not set a good example for the public.
Said Nora Osman, an administrative staff, "It doesn't matter if you're from Workers' Party or PAP, you have to show a good example to the public. He [Yaw] shouldn't just go away like that. Things have been done, he can't run away from the problem, so he should just face the music and apologise."
The 54-year-old added that although the women who allegedly had affairs with Yaw should not have gotten involved with married men, it "takes both hands to clap".
Senior manager Kelvin Tan echoed her view. Said the 33-year-old, "As a politician, as a public figure, he should have come out to say something. This [leaving the country] is not right and not doing any favour to the WP."
He added that with Yaw's disappearance, no one would know if the allegations are justified, and "everyone would make their own conclusion that the affairs are real".
Similarly, salesman C.L. Ong said, "It's not responsible to not answer to his people in Hougang. It's very wrong to disappear overseas. He [Yaw] let down Singaporeans."
"Private life should be separate. But he's not showing that he's responsible and answerable to Singaporeans," the 37-year-old continued.
Sales assistant Vivan agreed. "If he didn't do anything wrong, what's the point of running away? Just face up to the truth, it's no different. He can't run away forever," said the 23-year-old.
She added that both parties involved are at fault, as they are married. "They should have focused on their family," she said.
According to Chinese evening paper Lianhe Wanbao, the three women involved with Yaw are fellow WP candidate Angela Oon, a married Chinese national tuition teacher and social worker Zeng Xiao Ping, who also belongs to the WP.
