Thank you for your reply, Mr. Elrond. I initially wanted to refrain from replying, as I believe that most in Singapore are educated with min 98% 'O' level passes & many moved on to Uni or ITE, they would be able to research & make informed decisions themselves, given the gift of intelligence & free will, than rely on what the insignificant nobody me would provide.Your profound statement is… profound… but says nothing. What has China done to Asian nations in the last 100 years that indicate it is a security threat?

Mao had was a pioneer in CCP and without him China would still be rotting under the corrupted Chiang Kai Shek who were more focus on bombing its own people rather than the invading Japs. He went crazy in his later years but it is without question that no Mao, no CCP. The South East Asian communist insurgency were driven by the local Chinese sympathetic to the CCP cause. They were not agents sent by China who had enough problems of its own. I’m not sure where you got the idea that CCP sent their agents to disrupt regional Govt. The only entity who send agents to disrupt Govt all over the world is the CIA.Thank you for your reply, Mr. Elrond. I initially wanted to refrain from replying, as I believe that most in Singapore are educated with min 98% 'O' level passes & many moved on to Uni or ITE, they would be able to research & make informed decisions themselves, given the gift of intelligence & free will, than rely on what the insignificant nobody me would provide.
But in the event some may had forgotten, I can only give out facts in reply & let them decide, if they choose to.
The question should be what had Asian nations done for China, than the other way around. In 1949, after the CCP seized China & ruled by the evil dictator Mao for decades, many China-born fled from there as they saw in horror of what the devil Mao had done with its disastrous policies - Great leap forward, 1000 flowers bloom, Cultural revolutions, etc which saw MILLIONS of citizens starved or slaughtered.
Asian nations welcomed the China-born & integrated them successfully into their independent nations after WW2, contributed & turn those Asian nations into successful & prosperous nations. Yet the China-born Hardliners were not satisfied, & thru their Communist International Agency, its agents were sent in Asian nations to disrupt their politics to turn instead to proven failed Communist ideologies, causing much divisions, hurt & harm to peaceful Asians longing to be freed from tyranny & attempting to build up democratic & properous nations. It got to the stage whereby it became public policy to witch-hunt any commie supporter, even thru military actions such as those by Thailand, Malaysia & Indonesia in the 60s to early 70s.
By the late 70s, with Mao dead & his gang of four arrested, there was hope in Asian nations that with the rise of the great & reformer Premier Deng, an end to its COMINTERN policies, peace & attributes of civilization would at last be possible for China & its Asian nations. Trade flourished, & thru the purchase & investments by prosperous Asian nations, & even Worldwide, they HELPED to uplift & enrich the lives of every citizen in China.
But sadly, Premier Deng died too soon. The hardliners won the throne, & Humanity watched in horror as it made claimed upon an entire sea that is the largest sea on Earth & within it, every resources, with its bullying million strong military to back its claim, despite the natural claims of sovereign nations....
It is comprehensible on what China is doing, given its responsibilities of governing over 1.3billion citizens. Although the China hardliners won, they are not fools, & know that if they ever go to war to get what it wants, it will not just end in failure as it did in N.Korea in the the 50s & Vietnam in the 1970s, they will have NO funds to rebuild critical infrastructures, feed its 1.3billion citizens, let alone face an angered Humanity whom will punish China thru various means as it did to Hitler & Russia. It would prefer a strategic takeover of properties akin to what it did in Xinjing & Hong Kong where none or few would fight back.
There are more than enough resources on Earth for All Humankind & more, & can be shared thru regulated free market policies of trade & cooperation, & peace for stability to prosper all. If war happens, there will be no winners, only losers, & those whom remain alive will have a monumentous task to rebuild Civilization again, if ever...

Rather than responding to opinions which you have a right to, even if wrongly held, I would prefer to deal with facts. Now, about Vietnam war. It was instigated by the Americans. The big flop was on the Americans and everyone who read history understood that. China was responding. You got this mixed up. It is the most painful lesson in war for the Americans, not the Chinese.
How about Ann Cock?Sinkie nude also nobody hiew lah
That’s an interesting propositionHow about Ann Cock?
The “Sino-Vietnamese war” lasted for 3 weeks. The US sponsored Vietnam war lasted for 20 years! So much about selective perception.Rather than responding to opinions which you have a right to, even if wrongly held, I would prefer to deal with facts.
China's invasion of Vietnam 1979
Ok. First you claimed that others had not researched the “internet” properly and are un-informed. Then you put up a video of some Ang moh talking about China’s 3 weeks military operations in Vietnam and turned a blind eye to the atrocities America committed in Vietnam for 20 years. After which you claimed that the Wikipedia part that explains China’s military operations were inaccurate. Finally you put up a story that even Zelensky would bow in reverence - that Chinese leaders are gangsters because they grew up watching 上海滩。
The 80s TV series The Bund ( in Shanghai ) was a hit show in Asia by TVBI Hong Kong, written by Koo Siu-fung, Leung Kin-cheung, Leung Wing-wah, Sam Kwok-wing Leung Wing-mui, Chan Lai-wah & Chan Kiu-ying. While it may just be a mere TV series made to pay for profits & salaries, the writers took great care to depict life in Shanghai, an important port city back then, during the tumultuous changing times in China during the 30s, in a civil war between 2 mainstream political ideologies of Chang Kai Sek & communist Mao, along with the back then Imperial Japan Army in the mix, on how the ordinary China-born had to survive & feed loved ones.
Most in Asia, especially the current CCP Generals & Hardliners while growing up, would had not failed to watch the series during their formative years, & left a deep impression on them - that to survive, there is only the barbaric Rule of Jungle to rise, & thus the gangsterism style of how they conduct themselves to neighbors & each other in these present days, when they opted for Capitalism as a a sidekick to remain in power, the way the main depicted actor Hui Mun Keung, an Uni graduate who took part in the May 4th Movement in 1919 & was treated badly, but woke up to realities, & took the capitalist way to rise than mere protests instead, but sadly, thru the barbaric Rule of Jungle Law that ELIMINATES opponents, than to abide by Rule of fair Laws that grant each a level playing field to survive, to enjoy profits, which saw him gunned down in later times. He failed to realize that Jungle Laws only authorizes another stronger to rule, as the ancient chinese saying goes by - 一山还比一山高.
Perhaps Mr. Kishore & other supporters of the CCP can spare some time to watch the original 1st episode TV series besides just academic books, to understand what modern Chinese Culture truly is as evident by their behavior, which the writers back in the 80s took pains to depict. None is a monster by standards of those harsh & cruel difficult era changing times in China during the 20s & 30s. However, after the painful episode of WW2, Humanity had progressed to seek for peace & prosperity for ALL, & not just for a few, thru use of Rule of fair Laws where NONE is above such, & did achieved much for societies. China is & will always be welcomed to the table for such, so long as it discard the Shanghai Bund/Walled mentality..
