today costco is too crowded because an army of tiongs descended on the nearest store. went to target store next but cannot find any yankee candle products. all candle products sold at the target store were either "made in u.s.a." or "distributed by such and such in u.s.a." these are the only jar candles sold at their stores. will try world market and homegoods tomorrow if there's time.

marketed in u.s.a. only i think. kohl's sell a jar for $21.99 plus tax. can buy from manufacturer in china for s$1.69 a jar. imagine the profit margins of u.s. wholesalers and retailers.
