Exactly I always said why I spoilt vote. TCB is part of the wayang also because PAP knows people want the feel of a contest. Half of PAP and PA support TCB. Not fishy meh? 3 months ago GE all very united leh got 60%. Now they split and offer wayang contest and 70% woh! Whoever TT or or TCB win PAP not scared one. WE REFER to Mr Muhammad Yusuf Osman's letter yesterday ('Advisers to grassroots bodies should be elected MPs').

The mission of the People's Association (PA) and its grassroots organisations (GROs) is to bond the community and connect people with the Government. PA and its GROs serve all residents regardless of their political affiliations in fulfilling their role.

Grassroots advisers are appointed by PA, a statutory board. Besides connecting people to people, grassroots advisers are required to help the Government connect with people and help promote government policies and programmes such as anti-dengue and active ageing.

Hence, the Government has to appoint grassroots advisers who support its programmes and can play this role well. Opposition MPs cannot be expected to do this and thus cannot become advisers to GROs.

So is Ms Ooi saying that the Opposition cannot help promote govt policies and programmes such as anti-dengue and active ageing?

Isn't it more of the PA doesn't want to co-operate with the Opposition to help promote such programmes?

Such blatant and shameless declaration of how unwilling the PA (and the PAP) is to work with others for the good of all Singaporeans as a Nation.

So for all the hypocritical talk by the PAPpy govt and PM that Singaporeans should work together, the PA has done PAPpy in. The PA admits that its mission, its purpose, its objective, is to advance govt programmes, and the Opposition has no place in it.
