PEASANTPORE: Propoganda Minion Yakult (infamous for the Flood of the Century) has foolishly crowed that the regime take a very serious view of any breaches against the Personal Data Protection Act, even as the Personal Data Protection Commission continues its efforts to tell dodgy operators how to use various loopholes to reach out to businesses and peasants.
Several errant organisations who have little political connections, have been marked as 'examples', and given wayang warnings for failing to comply with the Do Not Call Registry provisions.
The registry was set up in January this year after an arty farty scholar desiring to ape the Ang Mohs, finally proposed stupid peasants who do not wish to receive telemarketing messages to register their telephone numbers.
Officially, merchants are required to check that the phone numbers they are sending telemarketing messages to are not listed in the registry but old peasants knew well connected merchants are given licenses to flout the silly rules using loopholes.
"You know, I know, this idiot scholar's papa quite well connected, so I farking just give face by sarpoking his silly proposal. But I just want to know, if you are not well connected politically, then farking think twice before spamming peasants with telemarketing lor. Those well connected merchants, no worries, I have a bunch of cheap lawyers in Chinatown who can advise you for a small fee to use loopholes and harass hapless peasants. You know lah, those cheap Chinatown lawyers, you pay them 50cents, they will also sue their parents or grandparents.," stressed Dr Yakult.
But he also noted that the peasants ought to take the DNC with a pinch of salt.
"KNNCCB, peasants pay taxes, but merchants pay more taxes, so you think we really use the DNC to fuck merchants huh? If thats the case, how cum for many donkey years we allow many direct marketers to fuck the public then we fold our arms and say its civil case, you all settle in court? Never use your Asiatic brains to think, we obviously side with tax paying merchants lor.
Ruler Loong only wants merchants to wayang and respond positively should they be approached by the toothless Commission for assistance into the investigations. No worries, we have cheap lawyers to recommend to you for a flat fee, they will treat the commission like dealing with that useless CASE," crowed Dr Yakult.
Yakult was speaking at the launch of a new book that discusses Peasantpore's Personal Data Protection Act, modeled after some Ang Moh's legal concept.
Titled "Data Protection Decree in Peasantpore - Privacy vs Profits in an Jane Austen inspired World", the publication highlights the issues and challenges when the decree comes into effect.
It also features views of legal whores on the implementation of the decree, and highlight the litigation opportunities for Chinatown based legal bastards to make some money at peasants' expenses.
