Ya Kun charges a staggering $8.50 for its measly-looking Nasi Lemak

I allow myself the occasional fish and chips because the deep fried fish in batter does not have skin like the KFC chicken. LOL!
Oh, I love fish n chips. Used to stop by harry ramsden's at kallang once a week. Sad they closed.

Vie Bistro at Bukit Batok Street 11 has a value-for-money fish and chips for $7.90 which I occasionally pack home for my family after work. Another of my favourite fish and chips is at Mariners Corner at Sunset Way (below) which charges $28++

People can be very dumb. They even go McDonalds to eat nasi lemak.

Gen Z and milliennials love their 'fusion' cuisine and their 'collab' clothes, shoes and accessories.

Also, they have a short attention span (ADHD), companies need to constantly chut new pattern or they become bored. For McDonalds, it is no longer enough to offer a CNY prosperity burger or an occasional Samurai burger, and once in a while a burger with two slices of meat. You have to keep inventing new items for the menu.

This is too little for the volunteers! Really treat ppl as free labour.
Amazingly, Vivian Balakrishnan exceeded his original budget of S$104 million for the YOG by 3 times. Where did the money go to? Surely not to the hardworking free labour. A volunteer posted that photo of his pathetic meal, which led to many of the others spending money for their own meals.

why complain leh? nobody use knife force U go Yakun to spend this money buy Nasi Lemak eat right?

If people are so daft stupid retarded to go there burn money and order this item ... that person should blame the parents for making them out and raised them without brains ... Yakun innocent one leh ... they open door do business earn money only :whistling:
