新华社万象8月22日电（记者章建华）首批在老挝北部遭遇车祸受伤的4名中国游客22日下午从老挝首都万象瓦岱国际机场乘机回国。
当地时间22日下午3时40分，包括2名重伤员在内的3名受伤中国游客在中国人民解放军“和平列车”医疗队医护人员护送下，乘坐我军直-8G新型加改装救护直升机，从万象瓦岱机场起飞回国。稍后，解放军医疗队医护人员又护送另一名伤情严重的中国游客乘坐中国东方航空公司MU2574航班返回昆明。

这4名伤员均为71岁以上老人，最大的79岁。据“和平列车”医疗队介绍，这批伤员经过医疗队初步处理，病情稳定，达到后送条件，将被送到昆明解放军联勤保障部队第920医院接受进一步治疗。
中国驻老挝大使姜再冬到机场慰问即将回国的伤员及家属，并现场指挥、协调相关事宜。
