Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with Full Metal Body Coming on November 5?

By Ashish Yadav - Oct 4, 2015

Xiaomi is in the news constantly for its upcoming launches this year end. We are expecting the company to launch a few new devices in November or December. However, the hottest of all those devices is going to be the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, successor to the Mi Note Pro. And if the latest leaks are to be believed, then the Mi Note 2 will be taking inspiration from Huawei and HTC in terms of design and material used to build the device.

According to @Leaksfly (via Mobile-dad), the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will carry an all metal body, which will make it look even more premium and stronger than any previous Xiaomi device. In case this rumor is true, then the Mi Note 2 will be able to give a tough fight to the big brands with its looks.

Previous rumors state that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will get a very sharp 5.7-inch 2K display and will be powered by Qualcomm’s highly-anticipated Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor. Other goodies will include 4GB RAM and 32GB native storage. The phablet is expected to get a 16MP rear camera, 4G support, latest Android OS, and much more.

Rumors also suggest that the Xiaomi Mi5 might get an advanced ultrasonic fingerprint recognition technology that is supported by the Snapdragon 820 chip. With this technology, the Mi5 will sport the fastest, the most accurate, and the most secure fingerprint sensor in the world which can be integrated into the display of the device as well. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will also use a SD820 processor, which suggests, or confirms, that Qualcomm’s fingerprint recognition tech might make it to the Mi Note 2 also.

The Xiaomi Note 2 is expected to get a November 5 release. It is possible that it might carry a MediaTek Helio X20, while another variant with the Snapdragon 820 might get launched in 2016. Anything can change between now and then, so let’s wait patiently for the news to develop.
