We can do away with one less or three more of their subservient MPs and nothing would change. Would adding another one more change things?

Who says WP will not work with other parties for unified action? They will probably work with NSP and SSP for unified opposition. They will definitely not work with SDP where SDP will do the wayang and the song and dance while they will have to do the jamban.

The WP are really doondu in not talking to other opposition parties. It is so difficult to come together and choose one candidate to defeat the PAP? If WP lose this BE bcos of their arrogance, they will regret their decision.

WP's strategy of dissociating completely with other parties is necessary for SG's unique political climate. What to do when the other parties are not as politically mature as you are? Some parties don't even put in 1/10 the groundwork WP puts in. Worse still, sometimes do extremely silly things. Don't even need to look at SDP. Just look at Desmond Lim and KJ in 2011GE. Would any credible person or party want to get within 10,000m of them.

Talking to other parties and putting up a superficial show of cooperation does not win votes. It does not improve winning chances. The downside however is virtually unlimited. Now why would any logical person ever want to do that.

This talk about "WP is doing the right thing and therefore WP should be contesting" is a little disturbing to me.

It is WP's right to contest in Punggol East. We agree on that. SDP or any other party should not be contesting while WP is contesting, and if they start a 3 corner fight they have to bear the consequences and the blame. We agree.

But what is different is the reasons we give. To me, WP earned the right because they walked the ground for the 2011 GE, and because they contested the 2011 GE.

But you're saying that WP has the right to go in because it is playing its cards right, or better than the SDP. Suppose it was another SMC that had been vacated, that was contested by SDP. Would the WP respect the right of SDP to contest in that SMC? Or is it going to be "fuck off, we're the ones doing things right and are ahead of other opposition parties in terms of political maturity and organisation". Would the WP guys be making the same argument if the positions were switched?

The SDP's objective is not about meeting the WP. It knew, from years ago and from the 2006 cheng tng incident, that WP under LTK and WP's Princess Megawati Sukarnoputri (Sylvia Lim) would never associate with them. It's objective was to bring to the public's attention the unbridled and breathtaking arrogance of the WP that hitherto, had remained somewhat hidden from the public eye but which is well known in cyberspace and amongst netizens.

The WP members, supporters and astroturfers were too clever by half for their own good, mocking CSJ's "lonely" press conference in his little office without knowing what it was all about.

With its unbridled and breathtaking arrogance, Chauvinist Low and WP's Princess Megawati Sukarnoputri has shown themselves to be even worse than the PAP.

The WP has lost the support of the minority Malays and Indians because of its racism and racial chauvinism. It will now start to lose support amongst the ordinary men in the street. Remember, there is always sympathy for the underdogs. And if there is one thing that ordinary people everywhere around the world despise, it is arrogance.

The PAP is hated and held in contempt for its arrogance. And the WP, under the leadership of Chauvinist Low and WP's Princess Megawati Sukarnoputri, to its sheer stupidity has, in the past, emulated the unbridled arrogance of the PAP, is emulating the unbridled arrogance of the PAP and will continue to emulate the unbridled arrogance of the PAP. i.e until its downfall. Pride goes before a fall.

I call on my Malay, Indian and Eurasian brothers and sisters and the ordinary men in the street to deliver a lesson in humility to the WP. JBJ would never, ever behave with such arrogance and in such a manner as Chauvinist Low and WP's Princess Megawati Sukarnoputri.
