So much better than pinky's/

The word "birthday" in reference to National Day is a misnomer. National Day in our situation simply means a breakaway from Malaysia. I don't celebrate ND because I think it's all political bullshit. There was no revolution, no one went to war or fought for independence. So there is no sense of patriotism involved. the decision for the breakaway laid only with a few men having their own political agendas.

I thought this was WP's national day video rather than a national day message. There is no message that WP wants to deliver, effectively speaking.

Of course there is a message there, and a very consistent message, but perhaps a bit too subtle for some.

The message is that the WP is an ordinary folks party and that any ordinary Sporn relate and associate with it easily.

This is very unlike some others who go around the world delivering extremely cheem messages at human rights conferences and then posting them on YouTube.

Sometimes a video is more powerful than a clinically delivered message.

This video contains no grandiose ideas. It just speaks directly to the heart.

Agree with ray of hope that it is a great video

why so demanding

Not demanding anything, actually I don't even pay attention to ND messages, no matter who they're from. but while watching the video noticed, Malay, Tamil, Mandarin, then it crossed my mind that Low, their leader rode on the Teochew speech he gave to the voters who supported him because they could identify with that ethnic group. Well, looks like that's history now.

Cheers!

It's not history yet , he will speak teochew again in the next election to that ethnic group :D
