Leon is the man to watch in the house. The Workers’ Party need to come back to earth. We will be watching closely, not just Leon Perera, but also all of them to see if they continue to mislead the parliament and arrogantly refuse to answer to Parliament.

Seem like this post become a topic where even opposition leaders had their view on it.

Accordingly to Kenneth Jeyaretnam, leader of Reform Party commented “This is about someone writing a fluff piece on himself” so Kenneth Jeyaretnam also agreed that Leon Perera did ownself praise ownself

Now let see what Goh Meng Seng, leader of the People’s Power Party had to say

The Independent – Singapore must live up to its own name: Independent, instead of putting up such lame twisted logic to really “cast aspersion” on people like me who are simply stating the obvious fact:- opposition supporters have been disappointed with WP MPs performance in parliament; especially after the Star effect of CSM which has failed to impress. The problem may be that people have too high an expectation of CSM in the very first place when he was “launched” as a star.

The Independent is doing exactly the same thing. Raising public expectation on Leon and this is DANGEROUS because if Leon failed to perform as expected again, it will be a double disappointment to opposition supporters and it will not help opposition, especially WP, at all.

Alright, since Leon Perera praise himself and want us to watch him in the house so let take a look where he seating so we can watch him closely …

Why isn't Leon in PAP camp ?

He looks like a PAP PLP backbencher. Even KJ sneers at him. No medicine to cure liao.

5 years down the road, I hope the naturalized citizen will suffer badly :(

I agree with Leon Perara that he is THE man to watch. It is neither arrogance nor conceit to state the truth.

KJ and GMS should reflect on themselves why others are so far ahead of them politically despite having spent less time in politics.

how come when a piece of turd said

OWNSELF CHECK OWNSELF

you did not say anything!!!!

oops. apologies, forgot your mouth are stuffed with turd.

Why is that mongrel Perera the man to watch? He didn't lose the elections by a whisker, let alone win. He's gonna be like another Gerald Giam or Yee Jenn Jong, another perennial loser at the elections.

Don't flock a dead horse lah. Opposition died already and war is over and you still...

“Bad Blood” was the first song to ring in the new year at MediaCorp countdown party, and it appears to have set the tone for the opposition camp barely a week into 2016 (what a suay song to ring in the new year).

All this, because of an article that was published on alternative website, The Independent Singapore.

The article, dubbed “The man to watch in the House – Workers’ Party NCMP Leon Perera”, touted the Workers’ Party’s NCMP Leon Perera as the next rising star of Singapore politics.

It drew sharp criticism from Reform Party Chief Kenneth Jeyaretnam, who condemned the article as “someone writing a fluff piece about himself.”

Perera is one of the men who founded The Independent Singapore.

Jeyaretnam also said that the article reminds him of incidents where organisations gave awards to the “PAP/Lee Family” because of their ties, adding that “it’s not as though WP doesn’t already have enough problems with cronyism.

People’s Party leader and former WP member Goh Meng Seng had commented that it’s better not to have “high hopes” in case of disappointment.

A follow-up article by The Independent Singapore, titled “Two opposition parties’ secretary-generals cast aspersions on WP NCMP” riled him up further.

He said:

“Maybe Independent do not expect anybody to express their disappointment and would treat any of such disappointment as “casting aspersions” on WP MPs!”

Goh added that the “PAP controlled SPH” are singing praises of PAP MPs and ministers all the time, and that “The Independent is doing exactly the same thing. Raising public expectation on Leon and this is DANGEROUS because if Leon failed to perform as expected again, it will be a double disappointment to opposition supporters and it will not help opposition, especially WP, at all.”

The Independent Singapore has defended its publication of the article, saying that Perera does not interfere with editorial decisions.

Alfred Dodwell, one of the founders of The Independent Singapore, said:

“Whatever story is run is decisions made by the editorial team in a fair and unbiased and independent manner.”:rolleyes:

And during all this, Perera was busy getting his kids prepared for school.

I thought LP was a big time CEO of some big time corporation ? Still living in a HDB flat ?

GMS and KJ are both fat losers. I hope they pack up and vanish for good from our Singapore's political landscape. Fat KJ should go back to England, and GMS can feel free to migrate permanently to HK.

People are preparing the next GE early and I do believe that WP still stand a chance to win new seats.

Leon perera is indeed the man to watch. he has solid credentials even Pap ministers can't smell. if he had stayed on with the establishment, he would definitely have made minister.

the other 2 chronic losers should just suck one anothers tiny dicks

When pigs fly!!!! WP would be completely demolished in the next GE. Aljunied GRC would be returned to PAP, and WP would be lucky to even hang on to Hougang SMC.

COMING SOON TO PARLIAMENT
