Why PAP town councils don't sue their MPs and the Mayors? It is impossible for PAP town councils to be perfect.
 
That the government can ignore the elected opposition MPs in the running of town council should tell sinkees that the concept of town councils, mayors and MP serving as leaders of town council is a waste of money.

Billions could be saved we go back to the old model of HDB running the estates. Economies of scale will be gained. There will be no $2 company providing important software.

Get rid of the mayors and town councils.

Opposition should boycott elections henceforth. It is time to change tack. Playing by the rules that keep changing is a waste of effort and time.

Yes, look back at history to strategise and optimise. Boycott is unlikely to be a viable and fruitful approach. Forget about tickling and small slaps. Decades have come and gone, and the Lightning Rod is the main source of energy. Destroy the Lightning Road by facing it head on. Disable the electrical charges by harnessing its energy. Prepare and be ready for a General Election TODAY. It is heartening that a few political parties have been walking the ground regularly. Fragmentation is not optimisation. STRATEGISE TO OPTIMISE and there must be respect for pragmatism and REALISM, otherwise there is only ONE beneficiary. Singaporeans are NOT STUPID. REALISM is KEY. Please stop openly focussing on and ridiculing about past percentages. It serves NO PURPOSE.

Take a page from the history of the Barisan Socialis. There is much to digest and assimilate from their past. Subtle, ongoing and effective. Touch the hearts of the people. Make them SEE and understand. Be there to share and reassure - yes, a reassuring presence.

The town council is now run by PAP cronies ....of course, they will attack the elected MPs and that includes legal law suits.

It is time to get rid of town councils and mayors. Let MP focus on the job of being MPs, not become estate managers.

More recent history has shown that elected Opposition MPs can do NOTHING. The town council that the Opposition MPs lead can be taken away from them.

Parliamentary debate is a waste of time because Opposition MPs are not given proper forum to hold the government accountable. Debates are controlled by the PAP.

It is time to stop pretending that this is a democracy. It isn't. There is no way the opposition can win an election when the PAP runs the elections.

Forget about elections; defeat the PAP in other ways.

Just go to show that tickling and little slaps do not make much headway. Quality and Quantity, coupled with Pragmatism and Realism, could be the WAY to keep PAY and PAY at bay. The DAY has come to go head-on and make THEM PAY and DECAY. Don't DELAY to StraGEgise and optimise. Come together, sacrifice and make HAY. Give Singaporeans a reassuring presence. Show us the RAYs.
